FALL PREVENTION:   Registration Fee – $25

This 8-hour class is designed to help workers recognize working conditions that may lead to falls and to understand the methods available to prevent falls. The use and function of Personal Fall Arrest Systems and P.P.E. will be addressed. Certification card will be issued.

FORKLIFT & POWERED INDUSTRIAL TRUCK- ALL TERRAIN:      Registration Fee – $25

This course includes classroom and hands-on training for industrial forklift and rough terrain vehicle operations. This course will cover hard tire, pneumatic tire fork trucks. The training is a combination of formal instruction, practical training and evaluation of the operator’s performance. Participants will be under the direct supervision of instructors who have the knowledge, training and experience to train and evaluate their competence. This course complies with O.S.H.A. training requirements. Operator’s qualification cards issued upon successful completion.

 U.B.C. (RECENTLY REVISED) CERTIFIED RIGGING & SIGNALING:     Registration Fee – $25

Recently revised, this course covers construction rigging hardware and rigging procedures. Topics to be covered include wire rope construction, hardware inspection, knots & splicing, sling configurations and load calculations. Applicable O.S.H.A. regulations will be discussed. The final Saturday session will be a hands-on practical exam with a crane, using proper hand signals and voice commands.

• U.B.C. qualification card issued upon successful completion of this course.
• CRANE SIGNALLING CARD IS ALSO INCLUDED.

U.B.C. CERTIFIED RIGGING REFRESHER:      Registration Fee – $25

If your Rigging Qualification card is about to expire you need to take this Rigging refresher course which reviews the course content and any recent regulation changes. The refresher provides an additional 4 years of qualification.
